Lesson Outline:

1. Warm-Up (10 minutes)

  • Film Word Cloud:

  • Discussion:

    Ask:

    • “What’s your favorite movie and why?”
    • “What do you think makes a movie exciting or memorable?”

      Introduce the term film genres and explain that genres help classify movies based on their themes and styles.

  • Introduce Film Genres:

    Use a slideshow or posters to explain common film genres:
