Dogs make the best pets. They are faithful and friendly. They are intelligent. They love people. They live for us and can die for us. They understand us without words. They are happy to be with us and are always ready to forget our mistakes. Domestic dogs appeared about 15,000 years ago. They were popular in Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt. Since old times people have experimented with dogs to develop some specific characteristics. As a result we have got a lot of different kinds of dogs or a lot of friends. Dogs play many roles in human society and people often use them as working dogs. People use dogs to hunt, to guard. In many countries, the most common and most important role of dogs is as companions. Dogs help people in many ways but we love them for their loyalty. Their loyalty makes them our best friends.
II – group. Domestic Animals.
Hunting with a catching birds is a national Kazakh hunting tradition. It is more than a thousand years old. Hunters are called Kuzbegi or Burkutchi. Golden eagle is a very rare bird. The Golden eagle’s training is a real art. It takes 7 years to train birds. People hunt with golden eagles usually in winter. Now there are only about 40 people who really master this art. Eagles—impressive both in size and for their fearsome beauty—have long been symbols of royal power and have appeared on coins, seals, flags, and standards since ancient times. The eagle was the emblem of one of the Ptolemies of Egypt and was borne on the standards of the Roman armies and of Napoleon’s troops.
